It's Been too long since I've last posted

It's been a long time since I posted to this blog, life has taken many twists and turns since May of 2008, too many to list, some real good, and some real bad, but regardless I'm still here, out there somewhere, occasionally tying a fly and slowly getting back into the game as time permits. Fly tying and fly fishing are my biggest passions and will always be a part of my life.

Several things have happened in the past year.....

My work was painted by Sarah Briston for her latest project..."Autumns of the Spey" an amazing project, with amazing tyer's from all over the world taking part....I'm very honored to be including in this project with such an amazingly talented artist and such amazingly talented fly tyers whom I admire greatly.

4 of my flies appeared in an article by Don Maclean in the Canada's Outdoor Sportsman magazine, called "Lords of the Flies".

One of my flies, painted by Jeff Kennedy in his flies365 project last year, and it appears in his new book of the same title. Visit Jeff's site here.... Flies365

Talk of another couple exciting things coming up.......... stay tuned!!

So even though I haven't been tying much, things are still busy and happening on the fly tying front, hope to get some new work up on the sites soon.

All the Best,

Damian.
